Quabbin Sports Academy

Quabbin Sports Academy is a community-based youth sports organization dedicated to providing quality athletic programs, training, and events for young athletes. Founded in 2025 through the combination of Quabbin Sports Academy and Quabbin Soccer Academy, the organization expanded its programming to offer opportunities in soccer, basketball, and futsal.

Based in Belchertown, Massachusetts, Quabbin Sports Academy provides athletes with opportunities to develop their skills in a positive, active, and engaging environment. Programs include summer camps and clinics, one-day clinics, team training, goalkeeper training, winter futsal, and other youth sports events.

The Academy’s soccer programming focuses on technical development, skill building, decision-making, small-sided games, and age-appropriate activities. Its futsal program provides players with a fast-paced environment designed to improve technical ability and decision-making while encouraging players to stay active and involved.

Quabbin Sports Academy also offers basketball programming and community events, with plans for a basketball tournament in Summer 2027. The organization emphasizes not only youth sports, but also supporting mental health awareness and building a stronger community through athletics.

The Academy’s summer programs serve children as young as 4 years old through age 13, with options ranging from morning sessions to full-day programs. Summer camps are held at Chestnut Hill Community School in Belchertown, providing a local opportunity for children to learn, compete, make friends, and enjoy sports during the summer months.

At its core, Quabbin Sports Academy is focused on developing young athletes, promoting participation in sports, creating positive experiences, and strengthening the local community through youth athletics.
